This guy has the looks, the mind and the disposition to die for. He is extreamly quiet to ride and handle. You can catch him anywhere anytime with no issues. He is very easy to hand breed, not aggresive at all to poeple or other horses. He is kept with other studs and geldings.
Snuff is registered with AQHA and you can look up his full pedigree under Driftin Sam Hancock.
He may only stand 14.1 hands tall but he has a heart of gold. He will never quit you, he has done cattle work, trail rides, ponied colts off of him, pulled the kids sleigh and wagon for fun, etc. We have used him for everything, and he has taken it all in stride with a willing attitude and big heart.
He is broke to ride, was started under saddle as a 2 year old, however he has only been rode the past 6 months and I would feel confident to put a lesser experienced rider on him with no issues, he's just that type of horse, very easy going. We ride him in a hackamore, and he has never tried to run through it. He is soft in the hackamore and doesn't require a bit, it's just our personal preference as we ride all our horses in it. He is the type of horse you can leave sit for long periods of time and still hope on and go for a nice ride. He has been rode with mares, other studs etc with no issues. He does not need to be rode everyday, and doesn't get overly excited about anything.
Snuff throws beautifull babies, lots of color, pretty faces and good minds. They have all been real easy to start, 9 times out of 10 they don't even buck, just put the saddle on and ride away.
We can't say enough good things about this boy, but he is for sale due to the fact we have changed our breeding program and he is just to small for what we need.
He is up to date on shots, deworming, and farrier work, and is a dream to shoe, and load in a trailer.
We would love to see this guy go to a home where he will be used to his full potential, and yes that does mean you can geld him if you wish. We personaly think he would make a great kids horse if gelded.
He has never been hurt, lame or sick.
If you have any questions or would like to come try him out just give us a call. I do check my e-mails regularly and will respond the same day.
His price is firm and we are no longer accepting trades as we have enough horses, thanks.
The pictures were all taken this year.
We also have some of his offspring for sale as well.
If this add is still posted then he is still for sale.
